Studio Policy

My goal is to provide a safe and welcoming space for all students to learn and enjoy music. I aim to create fun, engaging, and positive lessons that also develop student's musical abilities.

Payments and Cancellations

Schedule

I typically teach each student once per week, or 4 times per month. However, due to holidays and school, there may be months that I do not teach every week. Please see your invoice which outlines the plan for the month.

Invoices and Payments

An invoice will be sent at the beginning of every month. Payments will be due at that time. Cheques or eTransfer is appreciated.

Student Cancellations

It is appreciated if you provide 1 week's notice if you need to cancel a lesson for any reason other than illness. I will then do my best to reschedule that missed lesson at an alternate time. Please note that my school and teaching schedules are very full and a makeup lesson may not be possible.

If you are unable to provide 1 week's cancellation notice, I may not be able to reschedule the lesson and unfortunately the missed lesson will not be refunded.

Teacher Cancellations

I will do my best to keep to the lesson schedules throughout the year. However, if I need to cancel a lesson, I will reschedule a make up lesson or provide you a refund/credit for the missed lesson. These changes will be outlined in your next month's invoice.

Illness & COVID-19 Cancellations

If you are ill or quarantining due to COVID-19 and you are not able to attend your lesson, please let me know with as much notice as is possible so that I can do my best to reschedule a make up lesson. It is hoped that you will stay healthy and well and not have to miss many lessons.
